IHMT used the #WHO and World Bank data to produce the #analysis below.
The first graph shows the #Covid19 #mortality rate among the total #population per #country. As the vast majority of deaths cases (~80%) concerns people aged 65y.o. and over, the effect of the #age can be particularly significant in a country as young as #Iran which counts only ~6% of #elderlies.
The increase of the number of daily deaths seems to slightly slow down in Italy (+25% per day) whereas #France, #Spain, The #Netherlands, #Switzerland and the #UK are close to +33% per day. #USA, #Belgium and #Germany have the highest progression yet.
Astonishingly deaths increase in #SouthKorea is very low but constant, around +10% per day.
